The BEST dive shop on the island. The dive masters were very knowledgeable and safety was absolutely their number one priority. Their boat is big and rental equipment was in great condition. Courtney runs the place so efficiently and is very quick to respond to any booking requests over WhatsApp. The dive sites had gorgeous coral and lots of big and small creatures to see.

These guys are the best. I spent nearly 3 weeks in West End, diving 21 times and getting my Open Water and Advanced Open Water PADI certifications. Courtney is friendly, organized, and will go out of her way to make sure you have a great experience. All of the instructors are experienced, knowledgeable about the underwater flora and fauna, and great teachers in addition to being a good time. There are many dive shops to choose from in this area, but this is the one I recommend and the place I will pick if I get a chance to go back.

We dove with West End Divers off of the cruise ship Carnival Jubilee. Courtney helped us set up a great day. It started with our driver waiting for us off the ship to get us to the west end. 6 people in our group. 2 experienced divers. 2 doing a discover diving class and two snorkeling. They organized a great day for us and chose sites that were good for the snorkelers also who were able to go out on both boat trips. Stu took us out to our first dive while the youngers were doing their class. Great dive and got to see an Eagle Ray. Alex was back at the shop training up our new divers. After the first dive we came back to the shop for our interval and picked up our niece and nephew so we could all dive together on their first dive ever. Great way to introduce people to diving. Diving was great and everyone at the shop was amazing. They were so accommodating and did such a great job setting up a great day!! Another note for cruisers: There are nice restaurants and shopping right next to the shop. We were able to visit some during our interval to get some gifts. Thank you!!

We went to West End Divers last year and I wish I posted this then, but now having been to other dive shops maybe it’s good to write it now. After being with multiple dive shops, I feel like I’m always comparing them to West End Divers. I had a terrible experience with another shop in West End and so I was nervous to find another shop. Everyone at West End Divers made me feel safe, calm, and confident. They were kind and empathetic and patient. I’m still relatively new at diving and so it made such a difference to be in a space and with instructors and people at the shop that made me have such an awesome diving experience. We also met some other divers during our time there and have our group chat going strong a year later. Anyway, if you read reviews like I do, I hope you read this and choose West End Divers. All my love to them!! 💜
