We had a wonderful supper here today. The food was delicious. As a group of four, we started with the lobster croquettes, which were very good. For the main course, we had fish while our friends chose beef steaks — everything was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The dessert was just as impressive as the rest of the meal.nnOur waiter, Harry, made the whole experience even better. He was attentive, friendly, and even remembered our - not the easiest - names, which we really appreciated.nnThe restaurant itself is cozy and located right by the beach. Ever since we arrived we fell in love, the location, the view of the ocean and the sunset, the group of waiters was excellent, we were served by Franklin the waiter, he is the real deal for that place! He explained everything about the cocktails, the food, and even gave us a little information about where we could visit on the island. He is very well prepared, and he treated us very courteously and politely. Also, when we asked for the check, he explained how taxes work on the island, because it caught our attention that the tax payment system is different from the European and US systems. Overall, I recommend the restaurant and I wish all visitors to have as good a time as we did! We cannot recommend The Sunken Fish enough. This was our first meal in Roatán, and it did not disappoint. The food was Michelin star quality, the drinks were excellent, and the service Harry and Franklin provided was the best we have ever enjoyed. We thoroughly enjoyed chatting with them and learning about the culture of the island. Do not miss out on the perfect seaside meal! Not to mention we went to this restaurant 3 times in a six day trip.

We've eaten at this restaurant several times but this week stood out as the best! They've gotten some new, very comfortable furniture and it's really made it look upscale. The food was out of the world good! Best we've had there yet! The drinks have always been amazing but we were all more impressed from other restaurants. And now the service, Harry and Franklin went out of their way to make sure our lunch was fantastic. So friendly, so attentive, and had us laughing a lot. Sunken Fish isn't just a restaurant, it's a fabulous experience!

Beautiful spot overlooking the water. Harrison was very friendly and attentive, food and drinks were absolutely incredible. The red snapper is one of the best pieces of fish I've ever had, fell right off the bone. We also had the heart of palm tartare, which was unique and delicious. We came around 11am and were the only ones there. It was very peaceful. The food took longer than usual because of an electricity problem, but we just sat and enjoyed the view and the food was worth the wait.
