The Beach House Roatán at Half Moon Bay

Wonderful stay! Staff was super attentive and helpful. We dove a sun divers next door and did the dive and stay package for our honeymoon! We will def be back! Not only are the rooms and views beautiful, the food is amazing and they made getting there and getting back to the airport an absolute breeze! Worth every dime!

The Beach House looked great when we were looking for a place to stay on our first trip to Roatan and I have to say that it exceeded our already high expectations. My wife and I stayed here in June 2025 for a week of scuba diving. We had never been to Roatan before and the location looked good from what we could see online. What was hard to tell from the photos and videos is just how close everything is. From the Beach House, there are tons of dive shops, restaurants and stores in a brief walk. The room at the Beach House was very comfortable - it felt super clean and up to date (they renovated in 2021 and it still feels brand new). The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. We were there to scuba dive and we also like to get in a “beach day”. We took a water taxi down to West Bay to check out the beach there and the options for a day on the beach since it looked like a wider beach. It was a bit more crowded on West Bay so we decided to have our day on the beach right at the hotel and we were glad we did. The beach loungers are great - Henry brought our cushions for the chairs - and there are nice umbrellas. Shade on the beach in the morning got us off to a good start. We snorkeled in the bay - there are coral formations on both sides - and we saw lots of wild life including beautiful fish, an eel and a large school of squid even! You can get drinks and food brought to you on the beach, so what more could you ask for? We did the “dive and stay” package that they have with the dive shop next door “Sun Divers” and that was super convenient and one of the best diving setups we have had. So nice to be able to get off of the dive boat and be in your shower within minutes!

We spent 4-days/3-nights at the Beach House during our family vacation to visit Roatan. This was our first trip to the island, but I feel pretty comfortable saying this is this best location in West End! The location, staff, rooms and restaurant was amazing! Every room looks out to the beach and each night we enjoyed the sunset from our balcony, beach or the restaurant bar. The beach is 10 steps from the reception counter, 5 steps from the lower level rooms. The water and sand is perfect for many hours of entertainment. We have 10 and 8 year old girls. They spent hours in the water, jumping off the dock or using the snorkel and paddle board provided by the hotel! There are many great places to eat around the hotel, all within walking distance. However, we ate multiple meals at the hotel because the food, drinks and the staff were so good! The hotel staff was so friendly and accommodating. We booked multiple tours and rides through their team.nnOutside of the hotel, this location is wonderful. Every place we visited was so much fun, we felt extremely safe and will definitely be visiting again!

Our stay at the Beach House was magical. The location is perfect for exploring all of the fun activities and tasty spots in the West End on foot and ideal for arranging trips to other towns on the island by car. Being right on the beach treats you to beautiful sunsets every night. The room terraces offer you lots of peace and tranquility with a view to all the happy beach vibes during the day. The rooms themselves are spacious and the bathrooms are extra roomy. The cozy bathrobes and quality toiletries were appreciated. The AC was perfect and the beds were very comfortable. The staff were sweet and helpful. We can't wait to return.

We spent a week at the beach house and it was amazing! The rooms are very clean, staff was amazing and helpful with questions, activities, and transportation, location is perfect in the center of West end, security on premise, great AC to keep cool, beautiful waterfront view, perfect location to dive and stay with Sun divers, and great food (breakfast lunch and dinner at the restaurant). My only complaint is that the room curtains kept getting stuck when you open the slider door to the patio so if they could move all the way to the right or left that would be great. We will deff be back in time!
