We learned about Sea Salt from a YouTube video about Honduras. We wanted a special evening to celebrate a birthday and also an elevated dining experience. We were so happy to find both and more.nnThe location is very secluded and intimate and we found the ambiance to be very romantic and warm. Our servers Nichelle and Elvis were very helpful and attentive and provided great recommendations.nnThe experience kicked off with our choice of the best table in the restaurant- overlooking the pool area with the ocean in the background.nnWe both opted for the house special dirty margaritas and found them refreshing. We ordered both the octopus and the tuna carpaccio to start and both were some of the best appetizers we can recall. The octopus reminded us of Mediterranean cuisine, the spices, feta and beans were very tasty and the octopus was so tender. The dish was hearty but not too heavy. The tuna carpaccio was light and extremely tender. We were not used to having shaved Parmesan with tuna but it worked so well. Delicious.nnFor our main courses, we shared the hogfish and lamb chops. We highly recommend the hogfish, such a succulent and tasty fish and it was so fresh and prepared perfectly. This was perhaps the best single thing we have eaten in a long time. The lamb was juicy, tender and perfectly rare. Both were complemented by the broccoli “pajamas” - tempura style Parmesan battered florets that were light and not oily.nnFor dessert, we shared the chocolate cake - so rich and flavorful as well as the pineapple ravioli which were so inventive. The strawberry filling reminded us of the flavor of fresh taffy. Very unique.nnWe finished off with tequila espresso martinis and were treated to shots of Guatemalan rum.nnMany thanks to the entire staff for a memorable, delicious meal and celebration. We hope to come back soon!

I recently visited Roatan on a solo trip and stumbled upon this absolute gem — Sea Salt. From the moment I arrived, Petra, my server, made me feel right at home with her warm and friendly personality. She even crafted the best espresso martini I’ve ever had — smooth, balanced, and unforgettable.nnThe food was just as incredible as the atmosphere. The grilled octopus, paired with kidney beans, was cooked to perfection — tender, flavorful, and such a unique combination. And for dessert, the pineapple ravioli was truly to die for — light, refreshing, and unlike anything I’ve ever tasted.nnAs if the food and service weren’t enough, the view is breathtaking. Watching the sunset melt into the horizon over the beach was an experience in itself. Between the gorgeous setting, world-class service, and unforgettable dishes, Sea Salt isn’t just a place for dinner — it’s the spot in Roatan. Don’t miss it!

Let me tell you, finding this restaurant was quite the adventure, but totally worth it. The food was delicious, and I’d even say the service was better! The place is gorgeous, with a great vibe, water views, and a pool to chill by. Yeah, it’s a bit pricey, but it 100% delivers.nnWe ordered a bunch of dishes, and honestly, they were all amazing. The octopus and tartar were hits, I loved the carpaccios, and the steaks? Really good stuff. The desserts were super interesting—definitely try the pineapple ravioli. Yummm!nnBig shoutout to Omar and Elvis for their awesome service—you guys made the night even better!

I was on my honey moon and this was the best dinner experience I’ve ever had. The service was outstanding, Elvis and Omar were exceptional. This food was Michelin Star caliber and deserves to be on the list. The food from the starters, entrees, and sides were packed with flavor. Will be coming back with more friends and family. Thank you for the amazing experience.
