We went on a snorkeling trip and had a great time! I would recommend using them if you're looking for an excursion.

This was by far one of the best experiences our family has ever had. Joe was so awesome he has now become “family” to us. We started our first day doing an Island tour where we went by car and saw the whole Island. We did the Monkeys/Sloths, Chocolate Factory, Rum Factory, Island look out, tour of West End, etc. Our second day outing we took his boat around the island. Saw the dolphins, mangrove channels, snorkeled at Pigeon Key with the nurse sharks, ate lunch at Jerline’s Place, and finished with snorkeling at a shipwreck and starfish alley. Deep sea fishing was not on our agenda, but they put some lines in the water and my son and I were able to reel in some 40lb Wahoos to cap off the amazing day. Plus, we got to do the rope swing off the boat in West End as a surprise for my 17yo son. My daughter, who loves the ocean, had always wanted to sea Spotted Eagle Rays. Joe, who is a scuba Instructor, knew just where to go. He made it his mission to find some for her. He even took another day to take us out. We not only found her a Ray, the rest of the family got to see their first sea turtle swimming in the ocean. He went way above and beyond to make everyone’s trip memorable. We have since told friends who have used him on their cruise ship excursions on the Island. Not only is Roatan now our favorite island, Joe is one of our most favorite friends. So if you want an experience of a lifetime, definitely consider him first for any excursions on your trip to Roatan. We can’t wait for out next trip.

This is the best, most authentic, safe tour in Roatan. I cannot thank these guys enough! We were a group of ten sailing through on royal Caribbean. While we everyone else waited in the horrid traffic we sailed away on a boat in style! The gentlemen guides are local and so fun! We snorkelled for hours. The captain followed us in a boat while our guide led us along the reef. It was very surreal. Then we went for lunch. I don’t know what to say the best ceviche ever!! Amazing local food. Just the best day ever so much better than what the ships offer. These guys know the island inside out! We felt safe fully and completely. I cannot recommend them more.

I had the experience to go on an island and snorkel tour and also a fishing trip with RRE, and I can say I absolutely love it, I had so much fun and excitement on my tour.nJoe is very knowledgeable, professional and experienced. I could tell that he knows what he is talking about and take pride in his job. This company is definitely NOT on the pricey end, and I can say that its worth it, he provides all the gears you will need and the best part is, he guides your tours and provides pictures and videos for you. Absolutely amazing. I highly recommend Roatan Reef Explorer's. Thank you.
