Roatan Dive Center

Y'all, THIS is the shop you want to go diving with in Roatan! we went diving with them on the 13th from a cruise stop in Roatan. I can't say enough good things about how well this operation is run. Gary was very attentive on emails and the communication was fast and the instructions were very clear on how to meet up on the day, as well as all of the expectations.nnon the day of, we met our contact and took a quick drive over to the shop.nnat the shop we met Mary, our dive master. Mary is the most buttoned up dive professional that I've gone diving with. Her number one priority is your safety. bring your log book, she's going to ask you to prove your dives, which I appreciate. so we all got our best together, the crew took our stuff onto the boat for us, and we met our boat crew, Joe. Mary and Joe work excellently as a team on board. we did 2x wall dives at about 60ft for both. Mary again was awesome, attentive to our small group as well as finding some things in the reef we could look at that we might have missed otherwise.nnonce the diving was done and we returned to the shop the shop crew helped unload and they took everything back to the shop, and then cleaned all of OUR (we brought ALL of our own stuff) gear, they even rinsed out the bladder of our BCD's which I was surprised to see. I've never had an operator do this before. as we were drying off, my wife, Mary and I talked about the dives and she gave constructive feedback to us, and then they took us back to the port.nnwe hope to return sometime soon, we both want to explore the dive sites around roatan more, and when we do it it'll be with this dive shop and hopefully Mary as well!

We visited Roatan on a cruise ship and wanted to dive while we were there. Gary was great a communicating through email and was very clear about arrival instructions and how we need to proceed once we docked. We met our guide out front and were quickly on our way to the dive shop. Once we arrived, Mary was very thorough in getting our gear assigned to us and making sure everything was perfect. Once we were on the boat, it was quick trip out to our first dive site. Mary was one of the most exceptional dive masters that I have every encountered and was very focused on safety. She made sure that everyone had a wonderful dive experience. I can't say enough about this dive operation and I would 100% use them again in the future.

Had a wonderful diving experience at the West End shop with Mary and her team. I felt comfortable and safe after completing my OW and Advanced certification days before my first fun dives. Mary was organized, professional and treated us like family. I highly recommend Roatan Dive Center!

My grandson and I had a great dive trip with Roatan Dive Center. We sailed on the Carnival Valor ship and had a port stop in Roatan. The Dive Center had a driver meet us at the port entrance and drive us to the shop. We met Mary and Hazel, and they arranged for us to go diving.nWe had about a ten-minute boat ride to the site. The visibility was 80 to 100 feet. We were able to dive the reef and had an outstanding video of a yellow seahorse.nGary was great to work with, and we will return in the future. I would highly recommend this shop when visiting a port on a cruise.

Professional & Safe Dave experiencennProfessional and very safe oriented Dive operation with a focus on doing everything by the book while providing an adventurous dive experience. The shop provided us transportation from our cruise ship to the shop making the experience nearly effortless. They accommodated two of us who were scuba divers and two who were snorkelers on the same trip, which was a treat! While the conditions were a bit windy with some steep chop, the boat Captain and Dive master managed the short trip with ease. Our Divemaster Mary took us to two locations just minutes from the dive shop that both involved a sheer drop off wall dive over extremely healthy coral reefs. As a seasoned underwater guide, Mary was skilled at finding hidden gems. She pointed out a seahorse, a cleaner shrimp, Caribbean lobster, brittle starfish and more.nFantastic experience!
