I learned of Let's Buggy from Carnival's FB page. Shakira gave excellent customer service by email for 2 months prior to our cruise! I was very nervous for my first cruise, and first “outside” excursion. She replied promptly to all my nervous questions up until 2 days prior to cruising…When I no longer had phone service (FYI…. Check on your phone service prior to leaving the country for international calls!) After we returned home from our cruise, I found that she called, left messages, and left 2 emails, called inside the port, stating they were waiting for us. I’m giving Shakira and Let’s Buggy excellent reviews, even though we never got the tour, because of one major factor…. the time change!! After re-reading her last email prior to departing, she stated she would meet us at 10am Local Time….. repeat… local time !!! I won’t go into detail of what happened prior, but they tried multiple times to contact us, plus waited an hour and a half for us! “Ship time” was 10am – local time was 9am. (BTW…you’ve heard of dock runners?... those people also had the wrong time (watch automatically changed) and missed the ship!) We arrived too early, then my family got too nervous of getting scammed (very persistent!). When I realized the time-frame difference, it was too late, we had already left, and they didn’t want to return. Shakira refunded the deposit that day, before we even called. I’m so bummed we missed it but will definitely try them again next time!

This was our first time booking an excursion outside of Carnival Cruise Line, so I was a little nervous. It turned out great! We did the Sloth and Monkey tour. Jensen picked us up, was very informative and talkative along the way. Short drive till we got there, and then he stayed on site while we did the tour. Tour itself was amazing. They let you take all of your own pictures and don't rush you at all. The whole family loved it! When we finished, Jensen was right there ready to take us back. For everyone afraid of missing the ship-- the tour was only a couple of hours. So we left about 9:30ish and Jensen had us back to the port before noon. We had plenty of time to shop and wander before the ship departed at 5:30pm. Some people in the group even arranged to go to a beach after the sloth/monkey tour. That's how much time you had left over. No one was pier running on this trip! Super nice people!
