We had a great time on the rum chocolate and sloth tour. Our driver Mama Rose was so sweet. She went out of her way to describe the culture of the island and talking to her was so interesting. I would love to come back to visit her! The stops were also super fun - I recommend buying chocolate. I wisb we had brought home more; it was so delicious.nnI highly recommend this tour and especially Mama Rose.

We did this tour with our two kiddos (12&8) it was everyone’s favorite. We did the animal encounter, snorkeling , and beach break. The animals were amazing and didn’t feel rushed at all. The guys were amazing explaining everything and answering any and all questions. The water to snorkel was super clear and it was shallow maybe 5-6 feet most of the time. So for anyone with any issues it would be perfect as there are plenty of opportunities to stop and rest if you need. The beach break was my son’s favorite. You go to a small island where there are plenty of chairs and shade. You can purchase food and drinks on the island and we didn’t think they were expensive overly priced. The whole fried fish was amazing. You can spend as long as you want at the beach before taking a short ferry ride back to where your personal driver is waiting. The ferry comes every 15 minutes. Shout out to Raul our driver for being amazing. He told us a lot about the island while traveling and even stopped so we could grab some fresh fruit to eat before getting back on the ship. I would 1000% do this excursion again if we ever came back to Roatan.

We were blown away by our experience with Roatan Breakaway Tours. Omar was our guide, and I’m convinced we couldn’t have had anyone better! From the time he picked us up, he was very happy and willing to chat with us in our very broken Spanish 🤣 We had great conversation while enjoying the beautiful views up through the mountains. The weather prevented us from doing parasailing, which we had originally booked. But we got to do the snorkeling, which we had never done before. Rain didn’t change the experience, it was so neat to see the reef, different kinds of starfish, jellyfish, seashells, and various fish! To make up for the parasailing, we did a long and adventurous zip lining tour. It was such a blast! At one point, I dropped my purse with my phone in the jungle and one of the tour guides retrieved it with zero complaint. I was so grateful. The people of Honduras were so welcoming and kind, and even very funny. As if our trip to Roatan was not good enough, Omar stayed with us the entire day, and finished the afternoon off with a gorgeous bouquet of flowers for our 10 year wedding anniversary. It could not have been a better day, our favorite on our 7 day cruise in fact! Thank you to everyone involved!

Our family visited Roatan recently while on a Carnival cruise. Our tour guide, Lashan Collins was absolutely the best. She went out of her way to make our vacation special. The sloths (and other exotic animals), amazing snorkeling, private beach, rum tasing and chocolate factory were just a few of the things we did on our excursion. We loved Lashan, we loved Roatan and look forward to being able to take another cruise to visit both real soon!

We had a great time. Our time with ROATÁN BREAKAWAY TOURSnwas awesome and fun!. Arnie was friendly, funny and excellent. The tour provide us with the car and Arnie was our guide and driver.nnZip lines and Animal Sanctuary are in the same area, you have to visit the place. We bough some gift from chocolate factory and rum factory .nnIf I come back to Roatan gain, I will definitely contactnROATÁN BREAKAWAY TOURS.
