Took an epic trip with Capt. Lee and Crew aboard the “Mas Chingon” out of Galveston to Roatan, Honduras. To say the trip was a relaxing adventure would not do it justice, as I needed this in my soul. Something peaceful about the feel of calm waters slipping smoothly beneath your keel, a cool cocktail in one hand and a cigar in the other. Money.nnThe Captain and crew showed their skill time and again with bottom dropping, trolling for Mahi, Wahoo, Tuna, and Marlin. Dinner on the open seas? DONE!nnThe comfort and ride of Mas Chingon is a story unto itself, not be an untold. Amenities for all, WiFi, AC, cozy berths, cool showers, full size refrigerator, grills, oven, and a microwave all got plenty of use.nnFor the catch, an oversized chilled fish box and bait freezer. The tackle was top of the line and all in great working order (being an avid offshore fisherman and having been on some prior nightmare charters, I was impressed).nnKnocked off several species from my bucket list, and the wife was able to catch a few as well, Geaux team!nnReturning home with a great tan, a smile, albeit a few aching bones, yeah, we are a happy team with a shared adventure. All I can say is WOW. I highly recommend taking a fishing trip with Captain Lee and his crew. The rate for our group was fantastic. As soon as we boarded this amazing boat, we were impressed with the hospitality and his knowledge on the history of the area. When we were not throwin lines and hookin fish, we were enjoying the food, drinks and all the creature comforts we needed and then some. The ride back to the marina sipping some prosecco at sunset was the best part of our trip.
