Maitri Roatan Retreat

We had an amazing weekend staying at this beautiful place with family and friends. If you're looking to escape the crowds and enjoy a private, serene atmosphere with a stunning pool and breathtaking views, this is definitely the place to be. We also want to extend our heartfelt thanks to Kelly for all her help and support during our stay.

Maitri is a beautiful property where I love to come and relax. I live locally, but sometimes need to come to a spot where I can concentrate on work, take a dip in the pool, or experience nature. . . I will be back!

Maitri was a hidden gem. My kids and I stayed there for over a week and enjoyed the tranquility while conveniently being tucked between West End and West Bay. The pool was amazing keeping the kids entertained for hours. There was also a nature path with jungle swings that the kids loved. We stayed in the cabin and it had its own kitchenette as well as a fantastic bathroom with a soaking tub. Outside there were also two hammock chairs which were a great place for relaxing and taking in the sounds of nature. The manager Kelly is wonderful and so helpful with anything you may need. It feels like you are living in harmony with nature while staying here. Also, the pricing is very reasonable. We will definitely stay here again on our next Roatan trip!

I stayed in the apartment in Maitri and it was a beautiful way to spend the week. We saw a stunning sunset every morning from our deck. We spent hours each day by the pool before venturing off to the beach to swim and snorkel. The bed was comfortable and the apartment had everything we need to make some meals and rest each night. Rebecca was a gracious host and helped us navigate the island with ease. A truly memorable trip— we can’t wait to come back.
