I came to Roatan and booked with Island Dive Center since they were located at the hotel I was staying at, the Brisas Del Mar. I could not be happier with my decision. Rose at the front desk was super sweet and accommodating, she made my booking very easy and was great communicating with me via email before my trip. I dove with both Martina & Beto, they were both super fun and professional divers that made my dive experience an absolute pleasure. If you are looking for a dive outfit on your Roatan trip, go with Island Diving Center, you will not be disappointed.

Before arriving to Roatan, I hadn’t done much research of dive shops. This was a last minute trip as I was already on a work trip to Tegucigalpa. I booked the hotel first and that’s how i discovered this dive shop. One of the best I’ve experienced! It was low season with no planned dives, but the staff went out of their way and arranged for a friend and I to go out with them on a training day. From checking with Rose to diving with her, John, Matilda, Luis and the rest of the gang, everything was top notch. Our second dive was amazing, with great visibility, saw lots of turtles and other sea life. Great rental equipment, good boat and super knowledgeable and friendly staff. I hope to return in the near future!

We have been diving in Roatan for 8 years, the entire time at IDC. We have seen many changes and will tell you that this was one of our best experiences, from the new improvements to the shop and the new team at the facility. The shop manager Miguel was always there with a smile and hand shake! The receptionist Rose is probably the best we've had. Always a hug in the morning, asking if there was anything she could help with, and always following everyone out to the boat just to make sure nothing was missed. The boat captain Angel ALWAYS happy, upbeat and hilarious keeping everyone in a chill mood with his wit and island music. And then our Dive Master Beto who is one of the most experienced divers in Roatan and Utila. You ask and he will probably be able to find you anything!!

This was not our first visit to Roatan or diving with Island Divng Center. It was an amazing feeling to be back "home" amongst friends. Junior and Angel were both amazing captains and thier professionalism and care for the divers on board was appreciated. We have dived all over the world and these two are by far our favorite captains. They could take us anywhere and we would gladly go with them. Beto, our divemaster ( the eagle ray whisperer) was not only our guide into the waters of Roatan, but was so attentive to every detail. You can tell he lives what he does and treats every diver like family. We will definitely be back, and hope to see you all again. O'hana my brothers.

I had an awesome time diving with Island Diving Center. Melody and Luis run the front office; they are very kind, and professional. They work around your schedule and make it as easy as possible for the guests. I was fortunate enough to dive with Erin, Beto, and Dani. All three are amazing Dive master/instructors, and all three helped me become a better diver. Each of them have a perfect balance of making each dive a blast while keeping a safe environment.
I took my Bouyancy class with Dani and couldn’t have asked for a better teacher. I had a great time taking the course, and she helped me become a better diver. I am way more confident after her help, so thank you, Dani.
The boats are great, easy to get in and out of, and the sites are very close. It’s usually a 5-10 minute boat ride and you are at a great dive site! Shout out to Angel and JR, who are great captains.
I will only be diving at Island Diving Center in the future.
