We absolutely loved our visit here! It ended up being one of our favorite stops on the trip. The whole experience was relaxing, fun, and full of wildlife and history.nnHighlights:n•The tour was awesome! Our guide shared so much about the history of Honduras and the park itself. It was really interesting learning while walking through such a beautiful place.n•The animals were amazing. We got to see monkeys and colorful birds up close — and what made it even better was that they were wild, not kept in cages.n•The park is stunning. Everything was super clean, green, and peaceful. You can tell they really care about maintaining the environment.n•Everyone was so friendly. The staff made us feel welcome from the start and you could tell they love what they do.n•Great for photos! There are tons of photo spots, and the animals are not shy at all.n•Worth every penny. I don’t remember exactly how much we paid (around $30–40 per person), but it was totally worth it for everything you get to see and do.nnIf you’re visiting Roatán, definitely make time for Gumbalimba Park. It’s a perfect mix of adventure, nature, and learning and it just feels special being surrounded by so much wildlife and beauty.

We took our 14 months old, and she loved seeing the beautiful birds and monkeys! Warning - not very stroller friendly in parts. Was very wet, bring an umbrella! Or you can buy a poncho at their gift shop for a reasonable price. Good excursion through royal carribbean.

We went here on a Friday during our break from scuba diving. We had such a great time on the 1 hour tour learning about native plants, insects, island history, and then visiting the macaws and monkeys. Your ticket also includes beach and pool access so you can spend all day here if you want. It's also walking distance to West bay if you also want to go there. I recommend going early in the morning so it's not too hot.
