This was a great experience. The horses are well trained, enough for a new rider with no experience to enjoy comfortably. We had so much fun riding them on the beach and taking many photos. Don’t be like me though and forget to wear sunscreen.

My family recently went on a ride with El Rancho Barrio Dorcas. We all had a great time. The horses and tack were all in great condition. We did need to ride along the road for a bit, but the horses were very comfortable doing this. Then we got to ride in Sandy Bay and along the beach, such a beautiful ride.nnDefinitely recommend going horseback riding with them!

Had such a great experience doing this trail ride. As someone with horses, I was really happy to see how well taken care of these horses are. They are well fed, groomed, happy and healthy horses who are very well behaved. I’m happy to support this business and recommend anyone to visit (even if you’ve never been on a horse!) We walked on the road but then along the beach into Sandy Bay for sunset and it was beautiful.

My family really enjoyed the horseback riding. The horses are very well taken care of and we felt safe on them. We rode on a quiet beach and down a road with beautiful showers and greenery everywhere. This was a great memory and we can’t wait to return.

What a fun and unique experience! We met the horse guide and owner, Shirki, at 5pm and spent about 90 minutes exploring the nearby beaches on horse during sunset. Shirki gave us an introduction to riding and we were soon off. The horses were extremely well trained and despite never having rode before, my partner and I felt extremely comfortable. Shirki shared interesting tidbits about Roatan along the way. The experience was very memorable and one that I would highly, highly recommend!
