Wow! This experience was incredible. Cian took AMAZING care of us and it was awesome getting to learn and take our first dive with him. Murphy picked us up from the cruise port and gave us a mini tour all the way to the dive shop, not to mention how friendly he was. They helped us with transportation after the fact aswell! If you are looking for an AMAZING instructor, ask for Cian!! He couldn't have made our experience any better, and even had recommendations for future stops along our cruise. This was definitely a 10/10 and would recommend to anyone. Looking forward to diving with them again in the future! We were so incredibly lucky to have the dive boat all to ourselves, a truly enchanting experience.

Located on the best side of the island for diving , and directly on a beautiful cove and beach (West Beach), Coconut Tree Divers is an awesome dive outfit. Their open air shop with a cuddly, resident cat is warm and inviting and complete with shade and showers. Their dock and beach is right out front. Their large boat is designed for diving and is covered. Staff was international, professional and spot on with rules and safety. They are also reasonably priced. Diving was excellent with great viz. Highly recommend !

I have spent a week staying here and diving two morning and three afternoon dives, except one night dive, on two separate years. We saw the famous “String of Pearls” on the night dives along with many bioilluminescent creatures. We saw life that only comes out at night. Each day and each dive was a different diving experience, steep wall crevices, swim throughs, wall dives, and wreck and deep dives if you had the certifications. I didn’t because I was a new diver. The new divers would stay close by an instructor who allowed us to experience the best of diving consistent with our certification. I always felt perfectly safe and my diving skills enhanced amazingly over the week. The next year I took my daughter who had the same experience. Coconut Tree is at the crossroads of the perfect non-touristy traditional dive island setting. There cabins are rustic no-thrills dive-shack cabins. But every night is a walk down the road to shop, eat, drink (I don’t drink alcohol and certainly didn’t want it ruining my diving) and listen to music. Street vendors provided great food but nice restaurants are available, too. I couldn’t recommend a place more for diving. The last day we paid a staff member to take us on an island tour. You need 24 hours not diving before flying and there are places you need to see, like the animal preserve where you can hold monkeys, parrots and slaws; and feed herds of iguana crawling up your legs for collard greens. Or the Hole in the Wall Bar and Grill accessible by boat through the mangrove forest. These are the perfect ending for the most relaxing and memorable week you’ll ever experience.

A wonderful shop full of professionals dedicated to their craft. We had such a great time diving with Coconut Tree. The staff was super informative, professional, and fun. Riley, Gay, Matt, Kenzie, Juan and others all made our experience great. I am a rescue diver doing fun dives and my partner got her open water certification with Kenzie and was incredibly satisfied with the instruction, care and training. So much so that she went on a couple additional dives after her course, bought a mask, and has had us change our travel plans to include more diving! I mentioned a couple of bucket list dives on my list to Matt and he took us out there the very next day, the hole in the wall and odyssey wreck dives are two of the best dives I’ve done. We did 14 dives with Coconut Tree between the two of us and we will certainly be back to do our next certifications with Coconut Tree! Thank you!

This dive shop is the best! The staff are professional, knowledgeable, understanding and helpful. I felt very safe and really enjoyed all 7 of my dives. I did a wreck dive, several wall dives, an amazing drift dive,nwith there being a different dive site every day.The shop has a friendly down-to-earth atmosphere and all kinds of classes. The boats are big with lots of shade cover. I high recommend this place!
