Staying in West End but drove over to do a dive at Mary’s Place. Our friends didn’t have a car and they said the taxi was 40$ to get to Barefoot Divers. The staff were amazing, I really felt they went above and beyond. Towels after dives and other sweet added bits of hospitality. We thought it was beautiful, but it was good they tapered the groups apart, because it is a popular dive site. After our first dive we did a second one at the wall and saw a huge eagle ray. Good dives.

These guys are awesome! Great gear, great dives, great dive masters! Highly recommended! I did 2 dives with them and might do a night dive with them before I go. While you dive with them, do yourself a favor and stay at Barefoot Cay Resort, too. Top notch!

Great shop on the side of the island. We had 40mph gusts in West End and our dive shop used one of their boats. They had towels for us when we got back in the boat which was nice to keep warm.

My husband and I decided to book a dive trip to Honduras. What an incredible place to DIVE! I think we’ve found our biannual stop on the map, and this resort exceeded our expectations! We chose Barefoot divers because of its 5star PADI rating, and the reviews mentioned that the lodge was pretty quiet. It was everything we had hoped for and more! We felt like we were on our own private island! The staff at the lodge were very friendly and helpful with setting up services to get around the island when needed, to include offering great tips and information about where to go. The dive staff were INCREDIBLE! So knowledgeable about the island and marine life, and our DiveMasters Ron and Danny, were more than eager to help us find and identify what lies beneath the ocean surface. We even had discussions about their personal contributions to help save our oceans, and their involvement in Dive Against Debris! My DM Ron, even assisted me in conquering my fears about taking my regulator out underwater- a skill that I’ve been needing to master for years- as well as assisting me with my knowledge and skill as I continue to pursue my divemaster rating. He went above and beyond “typical customer service” and we are so grateful for our experience! We will definitely be back!
